Also seen were Speckled Wood 5, Red Admiral, Comma, Small White 2 & Common Darter 2.

Other species such as Common Blue, Hedge Brown, Meadow Brown & Speckled Wood, seen here within the last week or so, are getting rather worn as the flight season comes to a close.

At 1600 at least 250 large gulls present including Herring 24 & Yellow-legged. Pied Wagtail 3.

Also seen - Common Blue 4, Speckled Wood 2, Meadow Brown 2, Peacock 2, Small Tortoiseshell, Green-veined White, Small White 6, Silver Y 2, Latticed Heath, Common Marbled Carpet, Brown Hawker 7. At Winterley Lane still 8 House Martins around nesting area.
