1000 - 1230 sunny start, SW breeze, 8c : Yellow-legged Gull, Common Gull, GBb Gull 30+, Herring / Lbb Gull 100+, Bh Gull 300+, Cormorant 3, Mute Swan 2, Shoveler 3, Tufted 21, Teal 6, Coot 23, Moorhen 12, Lapwing 60, Pied Wagtail 2, Meadow Pipit 6 at quarry, Lesser Redpoll 5, Siskin 12, Goldfinch 3, Chaffinch, Jay, Starling 30+, Blackbird 3, Feral Pigeon 3, Sparrowhawk over twice. (GE/GWR) Usual Robin/Wren/Magpies/Crows/Jackdaws/Wood Pigs/Mallard etc. A Raven flew over Branton Hill at 1545, calling as it did so.
