1445 - 1600 sunny & fine, 15c : Oystercatcher 2, Lapwing, Heron, Mute Swan pair at nest, Teal 2, Pied Wagtail, Reed Bunting, Skylark 2, Bullfinch pair, Chaffinch pair, Greenfinch, Chiffchaff 2, Swallow, Jay, Jackdaw 6, Carrion Crow at nest, Stock Dove 2, Feral Pigeon 2, Buzzard 3, Sparrowhawk, Long Tailed Tit 2, Great Tit 5, Robin, Wren, Blackbird 3, plus a few BH Gulls & usual ducks & Canada Geese.Also seen - Small Tortoiseshell 12+ including mating pair and one trying to mate with a Peacock, Comma 2, Peacock 15+. At Linley Wood the 3 Nymphalids were also present plus 2 male Brimstones. At 1940 around 40 Meadow Pipits were seen to fly north over Rushall.

ReplyDeleteIndeed. Brimstones everywhere but haven't seen one at Stubbers yet.
