At nearby Linley Wood 7 Buzzards were seen circling at 1310, and 4 Pied Wagtails and a Grey Wagtail were present on factory rooves. Two Red Admirals and a Comma were at Winterley Lane ivy. At 1900 a Pipistrelle bat was flying around the Swag, and between 1910-1920 a Tawny Owl was calling from the trees in Barns Lane fields. (GWR)
