1030-1220 sunny 22c: Clouded Yellow, Gv White 4, Small Copper, Common Blue 6, Holly Blue, Peacock 2, Red Admiral 5, Small Tortoiseshell, Painted Lady, Speckled Wood 4, Hedge & Meadow Browns etc. Red-veined Darter, Black-tailed Skimmer 4, Brown Hawker 2. Another Hummingbird Hawkmoth at Rushall (7th sighting since April).
Hobby dropped behind middle wood on southern side, Buzzard 2, Sparrowhawk f, L Egret 4, Heron 4, Cormo 5, L Grebe 2, M Swan 3, Lapwing 3, Bh Gull 30+ incl 1 juv, Wood Pigeon 1000+ streaming north in small groups, Swift 4, Sand Martin, Swallow 2, P Wagtail, Reed Warbler pair, Linnet. (GR, RP)
