1045 - 1130 overcast, misty, 17c (rain later) : Pied Wagtail 13, Lapwing 16, Cormorant 8, Mute Swan 4, Heron 2, Moorhen 6, Chiffchaff / Willow Warbler 7, Blackcap 2m, Whitethroat, Sedge Warbler amongst tit & Chiffchaff flock, Long-tailed Tit 14, Great & Blue Tits 7, Wren 2, Robin juv, Linnet 2, Goldfinch 6. Kingfisher at 1445. Also seen - Vapourer moth 2. During the early afternoon a Black Tern was found by Kevin Clements flying around the Swag. It flew off at about 1440 north-west when a Hobby flew in.
