1020 - 1140 sunny, 22c : Cormorant 2, Mute Swan pair + 2y, Heron 2, Moorhen 3, Coot 20+, Lapwing 5, Black-headed Gull 51 + another 150 in the air, LBb Gull 10, Swift 12, Swallow 7, House Martin, Willow W/Chiffchaff 6 incl. young birds, Whitethroat pair, Linnet, Goldfinch 2, Greenfinch, Long-tailed Tit 5, Wren 2, Blackbird 2, Buzzard, Sparrowhawk. Also seen - Comma, Red Admiral 2, Small Tortoiseshell 6, Hedge Brown numerous, Ringlet numerous, Speckled Wood 3, Meadow Brown 5, Small Skipper 2, Small & Large Whites numerous, Brown Hawker 4, Blue-tailed Damselfly, Spotted Longhorn Beetle 3, Meadow Grasshopper 10+. A Ring-necked Parakeet flew over Barns Lane at 1950 towards the Swag. Site species number 100 for the year!
