1000-1130 sunny after night rain, 3c bitter SW wind : Dark-bellied Brent Goose on fields alongside Daw End Canal at Rushall, with 30 Canada Geese 0830-1530, Cormorant 3, Great Crested Grebe, Mute Swan 2, Goosander, Pochard 2, Tufted 40, Teal 4, Mallard 45, Coot 41, Moorhen 8, Lapwing 120+, Common Gull 2, Black-headed Gull 150+, Herring Gull 30, Lesser Black-backed Gull 10, Jackdaw 40+, Carrion Crow 10+, Magpie 12, Starling 2, Stock Dove 3, Wood Pig 3, Lesser Redpoll 40+, Siskin 4, Bullfinch f, Goldfinch, Blackbird 3, Robin, Wren 3, Dunnock 2, Great Tit 5, Blue Tit 3. A Vixen as can be seen by the one photograph . She looks in season. They have started barking and screaming already . Two months to a new litter.
