Morning, sunny to 14c:  no real change, a few Skylarks and Meadow Pipits going over, Grey Wagtail and 2 Chiffchaffs showing well.  Gull numbers building up.  Little Grebe on Daw End canal, Rushall for the first ever time.  Red Admirals at ivy near Linley Wood during the afternoon.    (GR)

1100 - 1230 sunny 13c: Mute Swan 9, Cormo 8, Wigeon 12, Gadwall 6, Tufted 14, Shoveler 4, Dabchick 12, Coot 190, GBb Gull 3, Snipe, Lapwing 59, Jay 3, Col. Dove, Chiffchaff.   Also Vapourer moth, Migrant Hawker and two Field or Bank Voles amongst brambles.

The Polish-ringed Black-headed Gull T2RM was also seen again (last noted on 17/01/22).  (GR)

A couple of hours migration watch at Rushall from 0720:  Meadow Pipit 14 south, Pied Wagtail 3 south, Swallow 5 south, House Martin 2 west, Skylark 5 west.

Also seen were Chiffchaff 2, Goldcrest 2, Jay 2, Raven, Rook, Buzzard, Grey Wagtail, Coal Tit and Song Thrush.  (GR)

At Rushall a female Pied Flycatcher showed well from only 5 yards distance in the garden at 08:05 briefly, before disappearing into bushes.
